Bill graduated from Boston University and the University of Florida School of Law. He has practiced law in Texas for over 30 years, as an associate in highly rated law firms in Houston and San Antonio, and then as a solo practitioner with a client and family focused practice.

Bill is a “legal Counselor” who explores options to find the right path for clients as well as an experienced litigator with over 30 years of experience.

Legal services

Bill has worked as a prosecutor in criminal law, legal counselor for the US Treasury, and as an attorney in private practice for over 30 years. He has worked in a large metropolitan high-rated law firms in Houston and San Antonio and maintained a successful private practice of law for over 15 years in a client-centered practice.

He has practiced law and conflict resolution in Bexar, Kendall, and surrounding counties, in San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels and San Marcos, has acted as consultant to several nonprofits, designed and implemented fundraising activities, volunteered his services for community initiatives, and acted as Executive Director of a nonprofit family services organization.

Mr. McNaught has been a trial lawyer for nearly three decades and fully understands the strategies and tactics of the litigation system. He is a staunch defender of rights and a strong advocate in court proceedings.

Bill offers collaborative law, mediation, and traditional litigation services. He also offers a strategic planning and capacity building services for nonprofits.
